Well folks, Barack Hussein Obama has been in office for nearly a year and a half and many are still waiting for him to fulfill his promises. What promises? How about we start with the promises contained within the "7 Lies In Under 2 Minutes" video which is footage taken during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

President Obama To Name Supporter's Daughter To FCC

What can I say? This is purely a payback move by the President who said his administration would be the most ethical and open administration in history. Apparently this week nepotism is ethical and is being done somewhat openly. President Obama announced that Mignon Clyburn would be nominated to a seat at the Federal Communications Commission. Mignon Clyburn is the daughter of Democrat Congressman (and majority whip) Jim Clyburn of South Carolina.

As I said, this is just a payback move. Congressman Clyburn, the highest ranking African-American in Congress, was key to passing the massive $787 billion "economic-stimulus" plan quickly through the House in February. He also played a part in securing Obama's nomination during the Democrat Presidential Primaries by swaying other "super delagates" toward Obama. Since then, Clyburn and Obama have become somewhat close.

Now, for you liberals out there screaming at your computer screen right now, I know other Presidents have done this kind of thing. But, how many of those Presidents made their whole campaign about "Change" from the way things were done before? No, not promising change because they all do that....how many made it their whole campaign like Obama? How many promised the "most transparent" administration in history? Just Obama. The most ethical? You might see my point. This nomination is not ethical, it's not change, and it's barely transparent.

Congratulations Barack Obama and Joe Biden

I'm not a sore loser. My candidates Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin did not win the election and I wish it were otherwise. However, I wish to congratulate the President-Elect Barack Hussein Obama and the Vice President-Elect Joseph Biden. Yes, I truly offer my congratulations and my best wishes.

I also congratulate the American people for another peaceful transfer of executive power. We are very fortunate that we as a people can disagree but still end up living and working together to build a better future. It doesn't happen that way everywhere.

Do Obama Followers Know What He Stands For?

It's been said that followers of Senator Barack Hussein Obama have no idea what he stands for. Personally I think it's because he doesn't divulge a lot of details on how he plans to do things if he becomes President of the United States.

Obama's followers in Harlem were interviewed and asked if they supported his policies as read to them by the interviewer. These people who support Obama agreed with all the policies the interviewer asked them about but there's a problem...they were Senator John McCain's policies. I bring this up yet again because of something I saw today at the gun range in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was a Toyota Hybrid with an Obama 2008 sticker on it. I couldn't believe what I saw. This wasn't a protestor that drove the car, it was someone who owns a gun and was there to shoot. C'mon, a gun owner that supports Barack Hussein Obama? Clearly this person is totally uninformed regarding Obama's history of anti-gun behavior. What history is that you ask? Well, according to the NRA's Magazine "America's Freedom", Obama has:

• Supported banning hundreds of rifles and shotguns commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
• Voted to allow “reckless” lawsuits designed to put the firearms industry out of business.
• Voted to allow the prosecution of citizens who use a firearm for self-defense in the home.
• Supported increasing taxes on firearms and ammunition by 500 percent.
• Voted to ban virtually all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
• Became a member of the board of directors of the radically anti-gun Joyce Foundation.
• Said in 1996 that he supported a complete handgun ban in a questionnaire from the Independent Voters of Illinois.
• Proposed a ban on gun stores within five miles of any school or park.
• Stated his support for gun owner licensing and firearm registration.
• Voted for one-gun-a-month handgun purchase limits.
• Voted against confirming pro-Second Amendment justices to the U.S. Supreme Court.

If you're a follower of Barack Hussein Obama...did you know about this? If you didn't you really should check into your leader before you vote. If you did know about this and still plan to vote for Senator Obama...SHAME ON YOU.

Is Barack Hussein Obama Eligible To Be President According To The U.S. Constitution?

If you've read the United States Constitution you know that in order for anyone to become the President of the United States there are a couple of things you have to be:

1. You must be 35 years old.
2. You must be a natural born citizen of the United States.
3. Be a resident of the United States for 14 years.

It turns out that Senator Barack Obama might not be a natural born citizen of the United States. At least that's what a lawyer named Philip J. Berg, a lifelong Democrat and supporter of Hillary Clinton, has said in a lawsuit filed in federal court. Haven't heard of this? Haven't heard about the lawsuit filed against Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic National Committee? That's kinda interesting since the federal judge has said that Mr. Berg does have standing to file the lawsuit and that it's not frivolous. So why isn't this on every television and in every newspaper?

Senator Biden Says International Crisis Will Happen If Obama Is Elected

Over the weekend Senator Joe Biden, the Democrat's Vice Presidential nominee, was either the most honest politician ever to speak or the very worst running mate ever...or both. Why? Senator Biden who is supposedly very experienced in foreign affairs said "it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama...", and "Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy".

My question is this...If Senator Biden is correct why would anyone want Senator Obama as President of the United States? It doesn't matter whether an Obama administration resolved the crisis correctly or not, why have the crisis just because the world wants to know how he would handle it?

It should also be noted that Senator Biden didn't say that the next President of the United States would be tested, he said Obama would be tested. Why is that you ask? Because world leaders, especially the stupid and despotic leaders, would try to push the limits of the inexperienced junior Senator from Illinois much like children test their parents. On the other hand, world leaders understand how Senator John McCain would react to their antics.

I hope we don't have to find out if Obama would be tested or not.

Obama Supporters Are Really Uninformed

It's kinda funny. I've never met a supporter of Senator Barack Obama that actually knew what his policies actually were. Apparently, it's not just my experience of Obama supporters. Check out the clip from the Howard Stern show below. It's audio only where one of Stern's people interviews people in Harlem. He asks if they support Obama because of his policies. They do support the policies the interviewer mentions but there's one problem...they're McCain's policies.

Barack Obama, Friend of Terrorists

It's no secret that I do not support Senator Barack Obama's campaign for the office of President of the United States. It has nothing to do with his mixed race. It has nothing to do with his party affiliation. It DOES have to do with his very poor judgment when selecting friends, mentors, and pastors. Though it has been known for some time that Obama is a friend of William Ayers, a domestic terrorist, it is only now that there is any main stream media coverage of their friendship. Do you really want a President who counts a terrorist among his friends and allies? Do you want to vote for a political party that nominates the kind of person that is the friend of a terrorist? I don't.

You know what? I wonder why Senator Joe Biden is ok with this. Just kidding, I know that he's a power seeker that doesn't care about who suffers as long as he gets his way.

What Should Barack Obama Know About Corporate Taxation?

Ok people, just a short entry here. Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, is usually short on substance when it comes to how he will achieve his goals. However, one thing has been pretty consistent - he wants to raise taxes on corporations.

You might think that's a good thing if you're into the rich vs poor, Us vs them politics that the Obama campaign is using but I'll tell you this - Obama has never run a corporation for profit. He hasn't been a CEO, CFO, or COO. For that matter he apparently hasn't ever taken high school business or economics. If he had he would have learned a major truth...U.S. CORPORATIONS DO NOT PAY TAXES.

Go ahead and argue the point and you'll be wrong. Corporations DO COLLECT taxes as directed by the law, and corporations DO SEND that money in to the U.S. Treasury or other governmental agency as required. BUT...they pass that cost on to the consumer. I'll say it another way. Any tax levied on a corporation is counted as a cost of doing business and any cost of doing business is figured in to the final selling price of the corporation's product or service. Any raise in taxes on corporations as Barack Obama has repeatedly suggested will raise prices YOU PAY.

That's right, a tax increase on corporations is a back-door tax ON YOU!

Sarah Palin Understands The Federal Government's Role

On Wednesday, September 3rd, Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska accepted the Republican Party's nomination as the Vice Presidential candidate. She made a fantastic acceptance speech that was lauded by pretty much everyone. Even Senators Barack Obama and Joseph Biden, the Democratic Party's Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees liked the speech but offered the criticism that she didn't mention healthcare and college tuition.

Ok, I'll grant that she didn't mention those things but why would she? In my opinion she didn't fail to mention healthcare and college tuition because she doesn't think they're important issues. I personally believe that Sarah Palin didn't mention those things because she understands that healthcare and college tuition are not the domain of the federal government. That's right, it's not the federal government's job to provide healthcare and/or college tuition. She knows that just as anyone who has read the U.S. Constitution knows that. Apparently the Harvard educated lawyer Barack Obama and his Washington insider running mate need to read the U.S. Constitution and remember what the federal government's job is.

If you want the federal government to provide healthcare for everyone and provide college for your kids I say this to you...BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

The Candidate Of Change? Obama Isn't It.

Well, it's been a while since I've blogged about the current Presidential Campaign. I thought I'd take a break just like Congress. Of course I can't take FIVE WEEKS OFF like Congress can so I'm back at it.

Truthfully, I can't understand why this campaign hasn't been called in favor of Senator John McCain already. Why? Because Senator Barack Obama has set up his whole campaign around being the candidate for change. He's short on what he'll change but what blows apart his "candidate of change" theme is his pick for a running mate. Senator Joseph Biden is as far from change as you can get. He's a complete Washington insider, extremely partisan, and as his past comments have shown...no fan of Obama's.

If Washington is broken as Obama says it is then isn't Senator Biden, having served more than 30 years in the Senate, part of the reason it's broken? This sounds more like political expediency than change.

Did Obama's Arrogance Trump His Intelligence?

Ok everybody, I've been a little lazy lately and haven't been writing very much. I guess I'm continuing that trend because what you will read below was not written by me. It was written by someone who admits he voted for Barack Hussein Obama in the California primary. If this guy is an Obama supporter he's not doing a great job of showing it. Enjoy.

It was a masterful campaign right through to Texas. Just before Texas Obama admitted they had let up for a few days and could have perhaps won or closed the gap with a stronger finish.

This was to my recollection the first time Obama admitted his campaign had made a mistake. Up to that point it was by most accounts a masterful campaign; in fact, an almost perfect campaign.

But as we know now, that was the calm before the storm.

First came the Michelle Obama comments that she had never been proud to be an American until her husband ran for office. Whew. There's one that will come back before November.

The Swift Boat propaganda masterminds will somehow create an image of her being First Lady and trying to represent the country she is not so proud of. Whew.

Next came the very Rev. Wright or as he is now called the Rev. Wrong. Willie Brown, perhaps one of the most savvy Democrats and former Speaker of the California Assembly and Mayor of San Francisco, nailed it on the head.

Willie said the real pros when they make the decision to go for high office look all around themselves and clean up the rough spots anticipating the vetting process. Obama did not do that thinking he and his message were above all the pettiness. By the way, for those that aren't aware of it, Willie Brown is African American.

Obama's explanation of the Rev. Wright was OK for his supporters but insufficient for his detractors. Does Obama expect everyone to believe he sat in the good Reverend's church for 20 years and simply not hear Wright's anti-American rantings? Of course lots of folks do sleep through church...

But the real problem with the good Reverend is yet to come. The Swift Boat propaganda machine will bring up, as Vice President Dick Cheney said at the recent press convention, the prospect of the Rev. Wrong giving invocations at the White House. Whew. That won't play well in Peoria and a lot of other places.

And then there's the ex- terrorist and "English professor" William Ayres. He and wife Bernadette Dohrn are quite the darling couple and have a loyal following amongst the progressives at the University of Chicago where he is a "Distinguished Professor."

Obama said he was only eight when Ayres and company bombed the United States so what's the big deal? The big deal is just how will that play in Peoria and the odds are it won't play so well either.

It will play about as well as Obama's elitist statement that rednecks cling to their guns and religion because they are bitter about the economy and their government.

Whew. He may have been talking to the liberal progressives out here in California but his message will be relayed to every small town in the land.

Now it appears the clouds are gathering over what now increasingly appears to be a defective campaign. His explanations and complaints about rising above it all show either contempt or arrogance or both.

Many Americans take very seriously their President's loyalty, character and judgment, something the Obama campaign has vastly underestimated.

Arrogance is the only explanation.

Obama is a really smart guy and he likes entertaining others with his brilliance. He likes to "show off" and "wing it" and that's what gets him in trouble. Like a night club comedian he lives or dies off the audience's reaction; that's why he says things like small town folks are bitter and cling to their religion.

As a "typical white person" it's not really about Democrats like me, who really don't care what preachers say and don't pay attention to what clowns like William Ayres say.

It's my friends in the South and Midwest that are crying "foul." These folks are white, Reagan Democrats or Arnold Republicans. They are centrist, patriotic and by many experts the so-called swing vote.

For Obama they unfortunately don't forgive and forget and they are spreading the word.

By all accounts Obama is a very smart person and I voted for him in the California primary. His mistaken views of economics and proposals for an all powerful government would have been issues for the fall but now they will play second fiddle to his loyalty, character and judgment problems.

In an election the Democrats simply could not lose it appears it is now a real race and one we Democrats can definitely lose. And in the end it may well be Obama's arrogance that leads to his downfall.

Like Dick Morris said, the biggest problem we Democrats have may turn out to be that Obama is our party's nominee.

Obama's Upset Again

Well, Barack Hussein Obama is upset again. This time he's upset with the Tennessee GOP picking on his poor Harvard educated Lawyer wife. How are they picking on her? Well, by using her own words of course. The TN GOP has put together a YouTube video interspersing Michelle Obama's words and those of some Patriotic Tennessee residents. What did Senator Obama say about this? He said, "If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family."

Oooh, we should be scared. We have to "be careful" because Barack Hussein Obama will be out to get us. Well, I'm not scared and I'm fine with going after Michelle Obama using her own words. First, how is it attacking someone by repeating their own words? Second, if she's out there campaigning for her husband she's fair game just like anyone else.

Here's the video and yes I think she's not all that patriotic. If you're that ashamed to be an American please go somewhere else where you think it's better.

Does Senator Rockefeller Hate Military Pilots?

On Tuesday, April 8, 2008 Democratic Senator Jay Rockefeller said of Republican Senator John McCain, "McCain was a fighter pilot, who dropped laser-guided missiles from 35,000 feet. He was long gone when they hit. What happened when they (the missiles) get to the ground? He doesn't know. You have to care about the lives of people. McCain never gets into those issues."

He has since apologized to McCain but what about an apology to the many brave men and women of our armed forces who, like McCain, have dropped "laser-guided" munitions? Is Senator Rockefeller saying that they are unfeeling? Is he saying they don't care about the lives of people? Is he really saying this about all former and current members of the U.S. Military who flew fighters and bombers? Well, if he is, it's certainly nothing new for a member of the political party that hates the military and wishes for the defeat of the United States.

If Senator Rockefeller had a pair he'd make sure he apologized to our brave men and women who have carried the load when people like Rockefeller stayed safely at home speaking through both of his faces.

Geraldine Ferraro Gets Thrown Under The Bus

I find it interesting that any criticism of Barack Hussein Obama is immediately called racism. More interesting is that comments that are not critical of the junior Senator get called racist when clearly they are not. As an example look at the comment that got Geraldine Ferraro, a former Democratic Vice Presidential candidate, relieved from her duties in the Clinton campaign..."If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman (of any color), he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept."

I ask you...how is that racist? I also want to know why the liberal media didn't want to examine the truth of the comment. C'mon does anyone really think Barack Hussein Obama would be able to defeat Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Primaries if he was a white lawyer in his first term as a U.S. Senator? I'll bet that John Edwards could weigh in on that idea. Obama has clearly been catapulted into his current position because he's black. The reason why his race is helping him at this point is, in my view, simple. Liberals must continually show their color blindness to assure themselves of their supposed moral superiority. So, considering there's not a dime's worth of difference between Clinton and Obama from a policy standpoint, the uber liberals proudly cast their vote with Obama. I really think it's that simple.

Geraldine Ferraro was thrown under the bus because she spoke the truth. I know it's weird to think of a career polititian like Ferraro speaking the truth in an election year but it happened. And, instead of the truth setting her free it just left her with big tire marks...because the liberals don't care about the truth and facts, just what makes them feel good and superior.

I Still Feel Dirty...Kind Of

Yes, I still feel a little dirty about it. I've showered, bathed, and been tempted to scrub with bleach to feel clean again but it'll probably be November before all is well. Why? Yes, last Tuesday I voted in the Texas primary for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Believe me I know the impact of what I've done, but I had to do my best to make sure that Shrillary stayed in the race against Barack Hussein Obama. The reason is simple...someone on the Democrat side needs to point out Obama's shortcomings since it appears that John McCain is going to be a weenie and treat him with velvet gloves. Don't misunderstand me on this. I'm not saying anyone should say anything about any candidate that is untrue. What I am saying is that the truth about Obama needs to be put out there by someone that the liberal left will listen to. Obama is getting a pass by the national media just because he's charismatic. At least I guess it's his charisma because surely nobody would overlook faults and shortcomings because he's bi-racial. Would they?

I Had A Dream

I don't wish Vice President Dick Cheney to have health problems, but the truth is that he has some heart issues. I do hope he's ok but since he's had these issues for so long they actually led to a daydream on my part.....

It was 2004 and I was in Laredo seeing some clients. During some of the usual chit-chat a client asked me who I thought the Republican party would run for President in 2008. I was at a complete loss. I actually had no idea, but as my mind wandered with the issue I came up with a possibility.

It went something like this...a year or two into Bush's second term VP Cheney would step down for health reasons. It would be entirely plausible because his heart issues are a matter of pulic record. With Cheney stepping down President Bush would be able to nominate ANYONE to be Vice President. There isn't an automatic succession to VP when the President is still alive. My line of reasoning/dreaming thought that Bush would appoint Condoleeza Rice to the VP position. Ha! Take that Democrats! Though Bush's appointee would have to be confirmed by the House and Senate (25th Amendment, section 2) who would ruin their Congressional career by voting against the first black person, the first woman, to be in the Vice President's office?

This would put Condi in the position of running for the presidency as a sitting Vice President with experience as VP, Secretary of State, and National Security Advisor. Condi versus Shrillary? Condi wins hands down. Oh well, it was just a dream.

Because She's A Woman

I heard it on the radio. The woman on the phone with the radio show's host declared she was a supporter of Hillary Clinton. The host asked the woman a simple question, "what policy of hers do you like?" The answer was a simple, "I don't know." She later admitted that the only reason she was voting for Hillary Clinton was..."She's a woman."

It's scary to think that people are that stupid. I'm not saying it's stupid to vote for a woman. I'm on the record as saying I would vote for the right woman, but what if I said I'm voting for Mitt Romney just because he's a man? People would consider me an idiot and they'd be right.

Please, if you're actually going to vote for someone to be President of the United States, check out the candidates. Learn what their policies are, especially if they want to raise taxes like Hillary does. Find out about their backgrounds in (alleged) insider trading like Hillary. Consider their experience running a business or government like...someone other than Hillary.
