Wacky Global Warming News: Jones Says No Global Warming Since 1995

If you’ve adopted Man-Made Global Warming as your religion you may want to reserve space in the next cult de-programming session…there’s been no global warming since 1995 according to one of your very own cult leaders – Professor Phil Jones. That’s not all. The former head of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit has made a few other interesting admissions you might want to know about.

Jones, the guy at the heart of Climategate, has admitted that one of the reasons he didn’t respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by researchers and skeptics is that he may have actually lost the information they wanted. Lost? Yes, he may have lost the information that is the basis for a number of climate change claims including those of the famous “Hockey Stick Graph” prepared by Dr. Michael Mann and used ad nauseam by Al Gore in his slide show. The information is also the basis of claims made in reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) at the United Nations…reports that are used by politicians to justify limiting individual freedom and raising taxes though they’re riddled with errors.

Professor Jones has “also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon.” Really? A period of warming that can’t be attributed to cars and SUVs burning fossil fuels, coal-burning electrical plants, manufacturing, or use of incandescent light bulbs? Could it be that the earth goes through periods of warming and cooling due to factors not related to the activity of mankind? That’s pretty much what he admitted to, isn’t it?

Another interesting admission by Professor Jones is that there had been two other more recent periods which experienced warming similar to the medieval period, from 1910 to 1940 and from 1975 to 1998, but he said these could be explained by natural phenomena! Wait a second…why does that time period of 1975 to 1998 look so familiar? Got it. It looks familiar because 12 of the 20 hottest years on record, according the Union of Concerned Scientists, occur during the 1975 to 1998 period. So, 12 of the 20 hottest years on record can be explained by natural, not man-made, phenomena.

Wacky Global Warming News: UN Climate Change Report Wrong About Netherlands

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) at the United Nations can’t seem to get much right. Recently it’s been found that the IPCC’s 938-page Fourth Assessment Report, which won the Nobel Peace Prize for the panel in 2007, was full of errors regarding Himalayan Glaciers melting and disappearing ice in the Swiss Alps, Andes, and Africa.

Now the report that many of the world’s politicians refer to when trying to take our freedom and money has been shown to contain more errors. According to the Nobel Peace Prize winning report, fifty-five percent (55%) of the Netherlands is below sea level. No surprise, the report is wrong. Wacky Global Warming News: Glaciergate

Glaciergate, that’s what it’s being called now. Glaciergate is the continuing story about how members of the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) lied when they published their 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winning report. A report which claimed, among other things, that the Himalayan Glaciers would disappear by 2035 due to global warming. Why would they lie? What could they gain? Well, as I said in my first Himalayan Glaciers entry it’s about money.
Glaciergate, and Global Warming in general, is really about money and power. For politicians seeking power Global Warming is a convenient fraud on which to base restrictions upon individual behavior and taxes on every facet of life. They’re already doing it in Europe and trying to do it in the United States. For “scientists” Global Warming is still about money. And how do scientists who don’t make a product get money? People sometimes don’t believe it when I say that this wacky Global Warming thing isn’t what they think. Most people believe that scientists are completely objective and are warning us of impending doom. They also think that people like Al Gore are just out to save us from ourselves and couldn’t possibly have any evil motives. They think scientists and rotund ex-Vice-Presidents would never lie. Wacky Global Warming News: Himalayan Glaciers Part 2

The whole "the world is melting because of CO2" Global Warming thing is pretty wacky. Remember the entry about Himalayan Glaciers melting by 2035? Well, it turns out there's more to the story than just one scientist's speculation being used by other scientists too lazy to check sources. You guessed it. There's more mistakes about the Himalayan glaciers in the same 2007 report. You know, the report that resulted in a Nobel Peace Prize for the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and Global Warming doomsayer Al Gore.

In addition to the lie about the glaciers melting by 2035, they also say the total area of Himalayan glaciers “will likely shrink from the present 500,000 to 100,000 square kilometers by the year 2035”. Ha! Another lie, there are only 33,000 square kilometers of glaciers in the Himalayas. Also, the report claims the Pindari Glacier shrank by 2,840m — a rate of 135.2m a year. The actual rate of shrinkage when the lies are discarded is only 23.5m a year. All of this has finally been admitted by the head of the IPCC Dr Rajendra Pachauri, who dismissed calls for his resignation.

Global Warming is a lie. A scam that politicians are using to separate you from your money and freedom through needless taxes and regulation. Don't let them do it.

Blog Entry About Torture

There's been a lot of news media coverage of memos released by President Barack Obama regarding Enhanced Interrogation Techniques used by the U.S. or what the clearly biased media calls torture. Unfortunately the average person has absolutely idea what torture actually is in the real world. The United Nations defines torture as:

"any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person for such purposes as obtaining from him, or a third person, information or a confession, punishing him for an act he or a third person has committed or is suspected of having committed, or intimidating or coercing him or a third person, or for any reason based on discrimination of any kind, when such pain or suffering is inflicted by or at the instigation of or with the consent or acquiescence of a public official or other person acting in an official capacity. It does not include pain or suffering arising only from, inherent in, or incidental to, lawful sanctions."

While that definition is as clear as mud to most people, others would like to know what actions actually constitute torture. So, as I so often do, I'm going to make it easy for people. I'll do this by listing a number of activities that are and are not torture:

Panties On Head = Not Torture (done in College hazing)
Red Hot Poker in Eye or Orifice = Torture

Caterpillar In Room = Not Torture (they don't bite)
Staked to Ant Hill Covered in Honey = Torture

Sensory Deprivation = Not Torture (people pay for this)
Flaying/Skinning= Torture

Stress Positions/Long Standing = Not Torture (did this in Little League)
Flagellation/Whipping = Torture

Belly Slap = Not Torture (drinking game)
Impalement = Torture

Waterboarding = Not Torture
Knee Capping = Torture

Shirt Grabbing = Not Torture
Public Stoning by Taliban for Playing Music = Torture

Sleep Deprivation = Not Torture (most Americans are sleep deprived)
Being Next In Line After Jihadists Behead Your Friend = Torture

Forced Isolation = Not Torture (even in Liberal courts)
Tried, Convicted, Stoned/Whipped for BEING RAPED by your Uncle Achmed = Torture

Listening to Eminem's "Slim Shady" or Britney Spears = Not Torture (unpleasant I'll admit)
Listening to Self-Righteous Know-It-All Liberals Blather On and ON and ON= Torture

Bulldoze the UN?

I heard an interesting idea on the Glenn Beck radio show. The idea was to bulldoze the United Nations building and turn it into a dog park. Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me.

The United Nations is a place where the United States (the UN's host) is routinely bashed in public by "diplomats" from dictatorships and various other repressive regimes. It's where they try to lecture the U.S. about human rights when the UN's human rights council is composed of the worst violators of human rights. The United Nation's various diplomats continuously violate our laws because they have diplomatic immunity.

The United Nations is also where various members of the UN Security Council tried to keep the U.S. from invading Iraq....because they were doing business with Iraq in violation of UN resolutions. Yes, France was illegally receiving oil from Iraq while selling Iraq everything from telephone systems in Baghdad, to Peugeot automobiles, and weapons. Germany was the builder of the underground bunkers that Saddam called palaces. Russia, another UN Security Council member, sold weapons to Iraq and also devices that were supposed to "deflect" our GPS guided bombs from their legitimate targets.

Let's bulldoze the UN.
