Do Obama Followers Know What He Stands For?

It's been said that followers of Senator Barack Hussein Obama have no idea what he stands for. Personally I think it's because he doesn't divulge a lot of details on how he plans to do things if he becomes President of the United States.

Obama's followers in Harlem were interviewed and asked if they supported his policies as read to them by the interviewer. These people who support Obama agreed with all the policies the interviewer asked them about but there's a problem...they were Senator John McCain's policies. The Harlem Obama supporters had no idea where their leader stood on issues. Hear the Audio

I bring this up yet again because of something I saw today at the gun range in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was a Toyota Hybrid with an Obama 2008 sticker on it. I couldn't believe what I saw. This wasn't a protestor that drove the car, it was someone who owns a gun and was there to shoot. C'mon, a gun owner that supports Barack Hussein Obama? Clearly this person is totally uninformed regarding Obama's history of anti-gun behavior. What history is that you ask? Well, according to the NRA's Magazine "America's Freedom", Obama has:

• Supported banning hundreds of rifles and shotguns commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
• Voted to allow “reckless” lawsuits designed to put the firearms industry out of business.
• Voted to allow the prosecution of citizens who use a firearm for self-defense in the home.
• Supported increasing taxes on firearms and ammunition by 500 percent.
• Voted to ban virtually all rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting.
• Became a member of the board of directors of the radically anti-gun Joyce Foundation.
• Said in 1996 that he supported a complete handgun ban in a questionnaire from the Independent Voters of Illinois.
• Proposed a ban on gun stores within five miles of any school or park.
• Stated his support for gun owner licensing and firearm registration.
• Voted for one-gun-a-month handgun purchase limits.
• Voted against confirming pro-Second Amendment justices to the U.S. Supreme Court.

If you're a follower of Barack Hussein Obama...did you know about this? If you didn't you really should check into your leader before you vote. If you did know about this and still plan to vote for Senator Obama...SHAME ON YOU.

Here is a little test that will help you decide. The answer can be found by posing the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, an Islamic terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, praises Allah, raises the knife and charges at you.

You are carrying a .40 cal Glock, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Democrat's Answer: Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor! Or oppressed?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids?

What does the law say about this situation?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me? Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted? We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

Another Short History Lesson On The Political Parties - Women Get The Vote

How many of you know that women in the United States were not allowed to vote in any election until the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920? It's sad but true that women were denied a fundamental right so crucial to our democracy. How did it change? Well, that's where the Republican Party came in.

In 1896 the Republican Party became the first major U.S. political party to support Women's Suffrage. When the 19th Amendment was added to the U.S. Constitution, 26 of 36 state legislatures that voted to ratify it were under Republican control.

So, when you hear that one political party is looking out for women more than another...remember who wanted women to be able to vote - It wasn't the Democratic Party.

Is Barack Hussein Obama Eligible To Be President According To The U.S. Constitution?

If you've read the United States Constitution you know that in order for anyone to become the President of the United States there are a couple of things you have to be:

1. You must be 35 years old.
2. You must be a natural born citizen of the United States.
3. Be a resident of the United States for 14 years.

It turns out that Senator Barack Obama might not be a natural born citizen of the United States. At least that's what a lawyer named Philip J. Berg, a lifelong Democrat and supporter of Hillary Clinton, has said in a lawsuit filed in federal court. Haven't heard of this? Haven't heard about the lawsuit filed against Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic National Committee? That's kinda interesting since the federal judge has said that Mr. Berg does have standing to file the lawsuit and that it's not frivolous. So why isn't this on every television and in every newspaper?

Senator Biden Says International Crisis Will Happen If Obama Is Elected

Over the weekend Senator Joe Biden, the Democrat's Vice Presidential nominee, was either the most honest politician ever to speak or the very worst running mate ever...or both. Why? Senator Biden who is supposedly very experienced in foreign affairs said "it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama...", and "Watch. We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy".

My question is this...If Senator Biden is correct why would anyone want Senator Obama as President of the United States? It doesn't matter whether an Obama administration resolved the crisis correctly or not, why have the crisis just because the world wants to know how he would handle it?

It should also be noted that Senator Biden didn't say that the next President of the United States would be tested, he said Obama would be tested. Why is that you ask? Because world leaders, especially the stupid and despotic leaders, would try to push the limits of the inexperienced junior Senator from Illinois much like children test their parents. On the other hand, world leaders understand how Senator John McCain would react to their antics.

I hope we don't have to find out if Obama would be tested or not.

Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) Week 5

Well, week 4 of Dancing With The Stars saw Rocco leaving the show just as I predicted. Of course I didn't really need a crystal ball since it was Misty May's injury that saved him from leaving earlier.

Week 5 was really interesting because they added some new dances. I'm not sure I'm really that enthusiastic about the Hustle but the Jitterbug that Brooke Burke did was fun. Still I'd rather see more of the Ballroom Dances like the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango.

Now week 5 is over and Toni Braxton has been eliminated from the competition. It's really too bad; I thought she was doing pretty well. Not well enough to win the competition but certainly better than Cloris Leachman and Susan Lucci. It just goes to show that there is a definite popularity issue with how the voting is done.

Warning From Pakistan

This morning, from a cave somewhere in Pakistan, Taliban Minister of Migration, Mohammed Omar, warned the United States that if military action against Iraq continues, Taliban authorities will cut off America's supply of convenience store managers and possibly candidates for President of the United States. And if this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Deli and AOL customer service reps, and then Motel 6 managers.

It's gonna get ugly, folks.

Obama Supporters Are Really Uninformed

It's kinda funny. I've never met a supporter of Senator Barack Obama that actually knew what his policies actually were. Apparently, it's not just my experience of Obama supporters. Check out the clip from the Howard Stern show below. It's audio only where one of Stern's people interviews people in Harlem. He asks if they support Obama because of his policies. They do support the policies the interviewer mentions but there's one problem...they're McCain's policies.

Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) Week Four

Season 7 of Dancing With The Stars is well underway here in week 4 of the competition. I admit it. I like DWTS a lot. This season may very well be the best and most competitive since the show's debut. Two Olympic champions started, An Oscar winner, A Superbowl Champion, A Grammy winning singer, Assorted Actors, etc, and they're all Ballroom Dancing. It's just cool.

But, I've been asked who my picks are for finalists this season. I've narrowed it down to two...and "in no particular order" as they say...Brooke Burke, and Warren Sapp. Both are dancing very well, put on a good show for the audience, and have lots of appeal. I didn't really know what to expect from Brooke Burke since I'd only seen her hosting shows on TV and gracing numerous computer monitors, but she's shown she can really dance and be competitive. On the other hand I thought Warren Sapp might be pretty good. It seems like the NFL players that have been on the show have done very well and Sapp is no exception. I'm guessing that having a high degree of conditioning, a strong work ethic, and a competitive spirit that NFL players have to have makes it easier for them to do well.

I'll be watching tonight to see who's eliminated but I doubt it will be Brooke Burke or Warren Sapp. If I had to guess who will leave I'd say....Chef Rocco Dispirito or Oscar Winner Cloris Leachman, but I've been surprised before.

Congressman Ciro Rodriguez Should Be Ashamed

Here in the wonderful city of San Antonio it's election season just as it is around the country. The 23rd Congressional District's current Congressman, Ciro Rodriguez, is running for re-election against former Bexar County Commisioner Lyle Larson. It's expected during a political campaign that the truth will suffer; however, the depths Congressman Rodriguez has sunk to is completely disgusting. Congressman Rodriguez should be very ashamed.

In television ads by the Democratic Committee on his behalf and in ads placed by his campaign a claim is made that the Congressman's opponent supports a 23% sales tax added to everything. The ads make it sound as though the sales tax would be added to everything and would be paid in addition to current taxes. The ads make the charge that Lyle Larson is for higher taxes and cite Larson's own website Issues Page. The ads are lies. It's very clear if you read Larson's page that he is against raising taxes and is an advocate of the Fair Tax.

Essentially, the Fair Tax is a national sales tax that REPLACES income tax. Hmm, a 23% sales tax instead of 28% and higher income tax. How is that a tax hike? It's not. Ciro Rodriguez should be ashamed of telling such lies and misleading the public.

By the way, I don't live in the 23rd Congressional District and cannot vote for either Rodriquez or Larson. I just don't like the lies.

Predatory Lenders? Lions, Gazelles, and Bear Markets...Oh My!

The economy is everywhere in the news. The media somehow loves economic turmoil and plays the bad economy stories everywhere. In addition to a declining Dow Jones, one of the main themes they keep showing is about "Predatory Lenders". You know what they mean. Lenders that took advantage of well meaning, average, people that just want the American Dream and couldn't afford the loans given to them.

Everytime I hear the term "Predatory Lenders" I have the same thought.... The lender is a lion in Africa and the borrower is a gazelle. The lender/lion stalks the borrower/gazelle slowly gaining ground and keeping an eye on the weakest member of the borrower/gazelle herd. Then, when the time is right, the lender/lion pounces! And, in the blink of an eye the borrower/gazelle is brought down by the neck and eaten....I mean FORCED AT GUNPOINT (or gaping lion's mouth) to sign for a loan the borrower/gazelle doesn't want and can't pay.

Oh my, the poor borrower/gazelle. Barely escaping with life, the borrower/gazelle is saddled with mountains of adjustable rate, sub prime, no money down debt that was never wanted. No, the borrower/gazelle would never have set foot on the African Savannah (Lender's Office) unless dragged there by the lender/lions so they could be hunted. They had no choice. There's no way they could have avoided ending up in Africa. They couldn't have just paid rent in Hoboken and saved up for a down payment instead of being FORCED to take the lender/lion's money for a $350,000 house on $25,000 a year income. Poor gazelle. Naughty lion, shame on you.

Barack Obama, Friend of Terrorists

It's no secret that I do not support Senator Barack Obama's campaign for the office of President of the United States. It has nothing to do with his mixed race. It has nothing to do with his party affiliation. It DOES have to do with his very poor judgment when selecting friends, mentors, and pastors. Though it has been known for some time that Obama is a friend of William Ayers, a domestic terrorist, it is only now that there is any main stream media coverage of their friendship. Do you really want a President who counts a terrorist among his friends and allies? Do you want to vote for a political party that nominates the kind of person that is the friend of a terrorist? I don't.

You know what? I wonder why Senator Joe Biden is ok with this. Just kidding, I know that he's a power seeker that doesn't care about who suffers as long as he gets his way.

A Short History Lesson - The Political Parties

It always amazes me during political campaigns, especially presidential campaigns, that ethnic minorities in this country side with and vote for the Democratic Party. I support their right to do so but I still don't understand it considering the history behind the parties.

Thomas Jefferson founded the Democratic Party in 1792 as a congressional caucus to fight for the Bill of Rights and against the elitist Federalist Party. In 1798, the "party of the common man" was officially named the Democratic-Republican Party and in 1800 elected Jefferson as the first Democratic President of the United States.

I do think that Thomas Jefferson, like the other founding fathers, was a great man who was instrumental in creating this great country. However, the founder of the Democratic Party was a SLAVE OWNER.

The Republican Party was born in the early 1850's by anti-slavery activists and individuals who believed that government should grant western lands to settlers free of charge. The first informal meeting of the party took place in Ripon, Wisconsin.

The first Republican Party President elected to office was Abraham Lincoln. You might remember President Lincoln as the President that ENDED SLAVERY.

There are more instances where the elected officials affiliated with the Democratic Party did their best to keep down minorities but that's for another Short History Lesson.
